Timberhold is believed to have been created by the first aspect, Kairos, father of time. From his grave, Avros was created, who then turned to create the forests and life itself in the form of the Valleyfolk known as Timbers.
Timberhold has faced many challenges throughout their lives, but time has proven to heal all wounds. A forest needs time and patience to regrow from disaster and come out stronger in the end, just as the Timbers of the Wilds.
Timbers believe themselves to have been given life from the Wilds, and through them, they continue to protect the Wilds in turn for it giving them life.
Kairos.
When the aspects first collided and tore crevices into the Valley, all hope seemed to be lost.
Kairos, an aspect so grand many referred to him as the First Mountain, witnessed as the Valley around them suffered at the cost of the aspects' powers. Beasts crushed beneath them, homes laid to waste, rivers and lakes torn apart and redirected, draining them of their water. Kairos begged the other aspects to put an end to their strife, but when they refused and continued their rampages, Kairos knew this would not be a simple solution.
Placing himself in the center of the Valley, Kairos began to root himself into the earth, and in doing so, began to drain the other aspects of their power. From where they stood, roots emerged from the ground, grasping the ancients and pulling them into the Valley, subduing them. They fought against him, but Kairos held strong. Over time, their powers waned, and they were pulled into a slumber.
In his final effort to restore the Valley, Kairos used his roots to collectively surge the energy of the aspects throughout the land, returning it to the soil, the trees, the mountains, the water, before he too succumbed to this sleep. Kairos knew that time would be the only thing to heal the Valley, and restore it to its proper state.
Time will heal.
