As you may have noticed, there is a new marketplace system for mousehunt, thank you dev's for all the upgrades. This guide is to get you familiar with how the new interface works. I will try and cover as much information as I can to help you out. Since the new market system offers many different upgrades, I will split this material into sections that will help you to understand it easier.
Lets get started; Learning your new marketplace interface system:
- Partial order
- The partial order function means that you can now buy/sell in portions.
- If your order is partially filled, now you can claim a fraction of your order and leave the offer open until it is filled with your original request amount, or you cancel your offer at any point. If you are selling, all unsold items will be credited to your account.
- For example, if you sell 1000 Super|Brie+ in the market, people can buy a portion of it or all of it depending on how much the buyer needs. If a portion of it get sold, say for example 500 pieces you can then claim the gold of those sold pieces and leave the offer open for more sales or you can cancel the offer and claim the gold along with the unsold Super|Brie+.
- Merging of the app market with the web version market
- The devs have merge "The Exchange" with the web market. This means that whatever you post on the listing on the web, you will be able to view the listing in the mobile app market as well and vice versa.
- This includes claiming the gold and items from the market.
- So fundamentally there is only 1 market and both the web and mobile version uses the same market.
- Refund and Price Matching
- If you place a buy listing that is slightly higher than the market rates, it will match the highest sell offer and refund the rest of the gold to you.
- For example, if you offer to buy 1 Super|Brie+ at 16k gold and the highest sell offer is 15070 gold, you will pay 15070 gold and be refunded the rest back.
- However, if your listing is way beyond it price by leaps and bounds it will not match any trades.
- For example, if you try to sell 1 Super|Brie+ for 99,999 gold.
- Tax
- There is still a 10% tax for buyers. But its not clearly shown so you may have to do some manual calculations yourself to find out the base price.
- Here is a guide written by my friend on how the tax works for the new marketplace system.
