Effective traps: Law, Arcane, Shadow

  • Before you are able to travel to Queso canyon, you must first have the rank of Count/Countess also have received as loot the Inert Queso Dowsing Rod from Fort Rox area.
  • Queso canyon is made up of 3 different areas:
    1. Queso River
    2. Prickly Plains
    3. Canterra Quarry

Queso River

  • Law traps are effective here .
  • Farm Bland Queso here with store bought cheese. Bland Queso cheese is the first of several Queso cheeses that you will need to successfully complete the area.
  • Upon successfully catching a mouse, the Bland Queso you will receive from the pumps will depend on three things: your pumps level, if you are using Queso Pump Charms, and/or the Overgrown Ember Stone base that can be purchased at the local trapsmith.
  • Your pump does not pump when you hunt at other locations unless you use Queso Pump Charms.
  • You will want to upgrade your pump lvl using Nachores which will increase the bland queso cheese drop rate on each successful hunt.

Prickly Plains

    • Flaming leaves
  • When hunting with Bland Queso cheese you will receive mild leaves as loot. These will be used along with Bland Queso to craft Mild Queso Cheese. When hunting with Mild Queso Cheese; you will get Medium Queso Leaves as loot. You will follow this process until you can craft and hunt with Flaming Queso Cheese which will give you the necessary loot to craft Wildfire Cheese.

Bland Queso + Mild leaves = Mild cheese, Mild cheese used to farm Medium leaves

Bland Queso + Medium leaves = Medium cheese, Medium cheese used to farm Hot leaves
