• To gain access to this area, you must be Duke/Duchess or above. You must have also have obtained the Rift Detector from when you obtained from Gnawnia Rift.
• Your goals here:
  • Obtain Null Gauntlet.
  • Get Multi-Crystal Laser.
• You will need String cheeses here. You can obtain some from the cheese shoppe if you need.
• There are 4 sections of mist here:
  1. 0 mist
  2. 1 - 5 mist (Yellow zone)
  3. 6 - 18 mist (Green Zone)
  4. 19 - 20 mist (Red zone)
• You start by collecting a bunch of mist canisters here. Once you have a good supply of mist canisters, you can start misting.
• Each hunt while "misting" will increase the mist counter by 1, while each hunt while not misting will decrease mist counter by 1.
• Once you mist till 5 and above, mice will begin to drop Terre Ricotta potions, which you can brew Terre Ricotta cheese. This cheese is used in green zone to collect Polluted Parmesan potions.
• Be careful, once your mist counter reaches 18 you will attract Monstrous Abomination, which is very difficult to catch and is not worth the reward right now.
• Once you have collected some Terre Ricotta cheese, you can use them. For best results, use them in green zone as this will not only provide you with the best gold but also you can collect Polluted Parmesan potions.
• Green zone is also one of the best gold farming locations if you need some gold.
• Before using those Polluted parmesan potions, mist until you reach 18 or above. Then equip the Polluted Parmesan cheese.
• You might want to equip a powerful charm like a rift type to obtain a rift bonus for trap. The Menace of the Rift mouse drops a Null Gauntlet that you need, and may also drop the Burroughs Rift Theme Scrap I. Note that you can save Mist Canisters by cycling the mister on and off, to make sure that the mist meter doesn't get "pinned" against the maximum. There is no point in getting your mist counter to the max.
• The The Null Gauntlet unlocks the Rift Vacuum Charm in the Charm Shoppe. Equipping it will allow you to collect Calcified Rift Mist (CRM). Calcified Rift Mist is really important starting from now as you will need them to craft rift type charms. You will be needing a lot of them too. So once you have unlock the ability to purchase Rift Vacuum Charms, try to use them here at Burroughs Rift for best drop of CRM.
• The Rift Vacuum and Rift Power Charms, along with the Rift Base and all weapons of the Rift power type, are part of the Riftwalker Set. Equipping at least two pieces will give your trap an additional 10% power bonus. Equipping three pieces will give your trap an additional 5 luck.

• There is also a theme available to be crafted here. Here is how to collect those scrap theme parts:
  • Burroughs Rift Theme Scrap I : Red zone (19 - 20 mist), catch Menace of the Rift with Polluted Parmesan cheese.
  • Burroughs Rift Theme Scrap Il : Red zone (19 - 20 mist), catch Monstrous Abomination with String cheese.
  • Burroughs Rift Theme Scrap lll : Red zone (19 - 20 mist), catch Big Bad Behemoth Burroughs with Terre Ricotta cheese.
• In the Red zone (19 - 20 mist), most mice will drop pieces of Rift Circuitry, which is needed to upgrade your rift trap.
• When you have your Null Gauntlet, 50 pieces of Rift Circuitry, and at least 1.5 million gold, you can smash your Crystal Tower to get a Shattered Rift Crystal.
• You can then buy a Focused Crystal Laser or a Multi-Crystal Laser weapon from the trapsmith. You will keep the Null Gauntlet; the other items and gold will be spent. For now the Multi-Crystal Laser appears to be the better option. If you are feeling rich or is torn apart by which is better, just get both.
