The Early Levels

• If you are just starting out, pick High Tension Spring Trap.
• You will start at Meadow where you will be guided through a series of hunting tutorials.
• Just follow the simple instructions and keep hunting till the end.
• While hunting in Meadow you will also collect Marble cheese which is dropped from mice here. Do not use them first.
• Once you have completed the tutorials, you will be rewarded with the Recruit rank. You will be asked to travel to Town of Gnawnia. Once you travel there, redeem you Fan Base right away and equip it.
• Redeem your free Fan Base here
• This Fan Base is important and will carry you throughout the early stages of hunting.
• Once you are in Town of Gnawnia, sell all your other cheeses and buy all the Marble cheese you can buy. Start hunting with marble cheese from now.
• Start saving for Mouse Trebuchet (costs 15,850 gold). This will give a good increase in power, making it easier to catch Gold and Diamond mice.
  • Mouse Rocketine is not worth the cost however, it you already have it you can use it.
  • If you are willing to spend $1 in real cash, you can buy the Shrink Ray Trap using the "Donate" button. This trap is significantly stronger than most starting traps. This trap is highly recommended.
  • Note: This Shrink Ray Trap is also tradeable. So you could ask around in the forums to see if there are any kind veterans who are willing to sponsor you this trap. Please do not beg for it.
• Continue hunting until until you reach Apprentice. Once you do, travel to Windmill to continue.
