Iceberg

Effective traps: Hydro

  • To travel to Iceberg, you need to be Lord/Lady have obtained Icebreaker License from S.S Huntington or Harbour cartographer .
  • It is recommended to skip this area first and come back later when you have obtain at least the Oasis Water Node trap or better. The hydro traps available here is not worth the effort as you will be getting the Oasis Water Node trap from Fiery Warpath when you reach the next rank, Baron/Baroness.
  • War Scraps can be traded in the Slushy Shoreline and Iceberg Charm Shoppes for Wax Charms and Sticky Charms. One bag of 5 charms is worth 1 War Scrap.
    • Equipping Wax Charms give you a progress bonus of 1 foot whenever you catch a Bergling.
    • Equipping Sticky Charms will prevent you from moving backward when you miss a Bergling.
  • In Iceberg, you will need to navigate each zone and defeat a general before you can continue forward. There are a total of 4 zones with 4 generals. Successful hunts will move you deeper into the iceberg. Failing to catch mice will result in you moving backwards.
  • You can choose to retreat and restart you run anytime by clicking on the retreat button on the heads-up display.

Treacherous Tunnels (0 - 300 ft)

    • Tunnel Rats and Berglings abound here.
    • They provide good progress upon catching them.

General encounter

Brutal Bulwark (301 - 600 ft)

    • Brutes and Berglings live here.
    • They will push you back even if you catch them.

General encounter

Bombing Run (601 - 1000 ft)

    • Bomb Squad mice are abundant here.
    • Tunnel Rats, Berglings and Brutes exist, but are rare.
    • If you are short on scraps, you can save on charms here and use others.

General encounter

Mad Depths (1001 - 1200 ft)

    • Zealot mice are most common here, they do not provide much progress upon catching them.
    • Berglings, Brutes and Tunnel Rats exist, but are rare.
    • This area has the slowest progress among the rest. If you wish to use your drill charges, this is the best place to use them.

General encounter

Icewing's Lair - 1800 ft

    • Under 425 hunts:
      • Frostwing Commander is present ONLY during first run through the Iceberg
      • Icewing is present during ALL runs through Iceberg, EXCEPT the first
    • Over 425 hunts:
      • Frostwing Commander is ALWAYS present
      • Icewing is NEVER present

Hidden Depths (1801 - 2000 ft)

    • This area is only assess this area by defeating the Icewing under #250 hunts.
    • The Deep Freeze base continues to provide its bonus here, but you can use other base if you want.
    • Note that you only have until #250 hunts before the Iceberg destabilizes and you automatically retreat from here to Slushy Shoreline.
    • If you do reach the end of the hidden depths, you will find the Hidden Lair, home of the Deep Mouse.


  • There is also a number of rewards that you can receive depending on the number of hunts you take to reach the Icewing lair and successfully capturing Frostwing Commander or Icewing.
    • <275 hunts: Iceberg Treasure Chest & Iceberg Strongbox & Iceberg Supply Chest
    • 276 - 350 hunts: Iceberg Strongbox & Iceberg Supply Chest
    • 351 - 425 hunts: Iceberg Supply Chest
    • 425> hunts: no chest rewards

Addtional Notes

  • If you are aiming for a speed run, go with Super|Brie+ with Wax charms.
  • If you have the Ultimate Iceberg Base from Ronza, use the base when you are moving deeper into the iceberg. Switch out to a stronger base when hunting generals/Icewing/Frostwing Commander.
  • Icewing has a high snipe fee if you are looking to earn some Super|Brie+.
