Something to Watch...

The video to the right shows a patient with "Split-Brain". With damage to his corpus callosum, Joe is unable to transfer information between hemispheres.

Does we have left brain (logical) and right brain (creative)? This is a myth. This is an important video to watch if you have genuine interest in neurobiology to dispel this myth.

Something to look at...

Use the following images to make sense of the SQA course notes.

Transfer of information between hemispheres

Information from one side of the body is processed in the opposite side of the cerebrum. The left cerebral hemisphere deals with information from the right visual field and controls the right side of the body and vice versa.

The Corpus Callosum

Transfer of information between the cerebral hemispheres occurs through the corpus callosum.
