Remote teaching and learning requires educators to work and teach in new ways. Given this, the rapid shift to remote learning has required educators to build and implement new skills quickly, and schools must be able to help teachers understand and develop in response to needed changes. In addition, the development of these new skills through ongoing professional learning and coaching also needs to be provided through effective, engaging online means that support the transfer of new ideas into practice. Leaders of remote learning need to shift their people practices and support strategies to reflect these new demands.
