The committee LP-1 today decided to make only one resolution, which was resolution 3.2, which was on the topic "Curbing Trade Deficit:Challenges and Opportunities".
The resolution sponsors were Sita Gurung,Dhanraj Gurung,Manju Khand,Subhash Chandra Newang, and Upendra Yadav, which was approved by all the delegates. The resolution passed with a full house majority.
The resolution contained three preambulatory clauses, the first of which stated that all parties had contributed to the current issue, the second that all parties had done so, and the third that the pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian war had created a severe problem and crisis with regard to resources in nations like Nepal.
It also contained four operative clauses: the need for all parties to work together to lessen or even eliminate the issue altogether in order to improve the lives of Nepalese citizens; the need for all parties to develop industries like agriculture in unison; the need for the government to take effective action to address the issue; the critical need for factories and industries; and independence.
To sum up, this committee's efforts to resolve the trade imbalance are a big step in the direction of the objective of bringing about economic stability in Nepal. The resolution "Curbing Trade Deficit:Challenges and Opportunities," which was approved, has brought attention to the necessity of cooperation between all parties involved in the trade sector, including the government. The fact that the resolution was accepted by a unanimous vote of the whole house demonstrates the degree of commitment and determination required to resolve this crucial problem. All parties must cooperate to guarantee that Nepal's economic objectives are met because the resolution asks for the growth of industries concurrently.
