Interviewer : So, Today we are going to ask you some questions so shallwe begin?
Interviewee: Yes, sure.
Interviewer : According to you, what are the 3 words that best describe MUN?
Interviewee: Um in my opinion the three words that best describes MUN are cooperation, coordination and enthusiasm.
Interviewer :Can you give a brief insight on the current situation of every committee.
Interviewee: Every Committee is going pretty well because it is our guiding delegates in a very proper manner and the delegates are also researching very well and also debating in the committee, so yeah the committees are active now.
Interviewer :That's really good. What are the main duties and responsibilities of the secretary general?
Interviewee: Secretary General has a lot of responsibilities to fulfill but one of the major responsibilities is that secretary general should give the credit to the dais panel if they do anything good and secretary general should also take the responsibility if they do anything wrong and should also guide the delegates, motivate them and encourage them.
Interviewer :So yeah that’s really great so What were the challenges and difficulties that you faced personally and how did you overcome it?
Interviewee:: I had this lack of confidence in me. I would think that people would judge me and that would just stop me from moving forward but as soon as i started believing in myself and participating in different programs. Then, I started building confidence in myself and soon I started overcoming all these problems.
Interviewer :That must be really hard. So How do you believe that theMUN program contributes to students' personal and academic development?
Interviewee:: MUN program plays a major role in the development of students as first of all it helps them to build confidence and also develops this ability in them to research well and present them and also teachers them to work in a team, cooperate between the members and helps them
to believe in themselves and work in team accordingly.
Interviewer : What type of expectation do you have with the delegates and dias panel?
Interviewee: I expect them to guide the delegates in a proper manner and answer them all the questions that they ask because to clear their
curiosities as well and also to teach the procedures properly in the committee and i expect the delegates first of all to believe in themselves
because the placard they have its like a magic wand like the more they raise it the more magic it creates so i expect them to raise their placard,
ask questions debate and respond to the questions that are being asked to them so yeah just be active in the community.
Interviewer :Till now what has been your favorite memory of MUN or with the delegates?
Interviewee: I have created a lot of memories in MUN but one of the most favorite memories of mine is during the TESMUN year 2079. I was a delegate of Afghanistan in the ECOSOC committee and a lot of questions were being raised to me because Afghanistan was facing a really bad
situation at the time but it was fun for me to debate in the committee and answer the questions and it created an energetic environment in the
committee. So yeah that was one of the most memorable moments.
Interviewer : Thank you for your precious time with us hope u good for your upcoming days in MUN sessions
Interviewee: Thank you!

Let us welcome the MUN coordinator Mr. Govinda Gautam.
Interviewee: Namaste!
Interviewer: Namaste sir, So today we are going to ask you some questions, so shall we begin?
Interviewee: yes please.
Interviewer: According to you, what does MUN mean to you?
Interviewee: Actually, MUN is an academic simulation of the United nations and in its specialized agencies. It consists of research skills and leadership skills and so many other skills among the students.
Interviewer: Did you ever get any chance to participate in the MUN in your school/college days?
Interviewee: When I was a student I didn't get any chances to participate in such programs because there were no such opportunities in those days.
Interviewer: In your viewpoint, how is this session going to go in the upcoming day?
Interviewee: I think delegates are researching, dias members have also prepared very well so the communications are very fruitful and it will be very impactful through the steps.
Interviewer: As an MUN coordinator, what kinds of duties have you given to the Dias panel and delegates?
Interviewee: Actually, Mun program depends upon the delegates and dias panel. Their hard work, their research, their cooperation and coordination. We make this program successful. So, especially the delegates they are researching well, they are preparing well to have logical debate in the committee. I have given the same tasks and dias panel they have alot for the preparation. One thing is that they have to be prepared well and for that they have to research about the different agendas which are going to be discussed in the committees. Next thing is that they have to prepare study guides, delegates handbooks, they have to prepare some sample question papers, they have to assign these all. They have to assign a country profile to the delegates. They have to check these things in their google classrooms. So, they have lots of duties. They have lots of roles and responsibilities and I have also assigned them these things.
Interviewer: What could be done to improve TES MUN going forward?
Interviewee: The main thing to improve TESMUN forward is the delegates have to research well, they have to present well as the delegates of different parties and different countries. So, these things will be focused ,research should be done well by the delegates so that to have a good resolution.
Interviewer: What was your first experience of MUN and what kind of differences have you found in this year's MUN?
Interviewee: I joined this school in the year 2072 and it was my first time to participate in MUN, organized by this school. From that time to this we have changed lots of things in the communities. Outside the communities and decoration part and IT sections. We have done lots of things and we have enhanced debating skills and some research skills and inside the communities. Whatever debate is going on there has been improving.
Interviewer: According to you, how does MUN help students in their life?
Interviewee: MUN has so many importances for the students. It teaches life skills to the students. This mun program enhances leadership skills. Research skills. It enables the delegates and the dias members to be updated on the current issues. Cooperation and collaboration is the next beauty of the MUN program. It is all our life skills which are needed for every step in our life.
Interviewer: Are you satisfied with the work done by the Dias panel?
Interviewee: Of Course, our dias panel they are working very hard to make this program successful. Now they are playing two roles, one is dias panel and another is as students, they are parallely completing these roles. They are researching, they are handling the committee. They are doing very well in the committee. So, I am very satisfied with the dais panel.
Interviewer: What are your strategies to conduct this MUN more effectively?
Interviewee: Okay, my strategy is the MUN program is the program of collaboration and cooperation. These programs cannot be successful only by the MUN coordinator, only by the dias panel but the delegates. It needs cooperation and collaboration. With all teachers, incharges, supervisors and the students who are dias as the delegates and press and IT team also have a very vital role to make this program successful. So, collaboration and cooperation is one of the prioritized strategies in this program.
Interviewer: Thank you for your precious time with us hope u good for your
upcoming days in MUN sessions
Interviewee: Thank you!
