TESMUN is an academic simulation of the United Nations in which students act as delegates from various countries as well as representative members of Nepal's House of Representatives. They try to tackle real-world problems using the policies and viewpoints of their respective countries while acting as Nepali political leaders. TESMUN is a forum for students to investigate, enquire, and discuss. The Excelsior School, like many universities, high schools, and non-profit organizations, has organized Model United Nations sessions to empower students and offer them an interactive platform.
TESMUN is a platform where students face their fear of public speaking, develop negotiation skills, and construct relations among each other as an aspect of communication. On top of knowing facts about the contemporary world through their participation in the MUN sessions, students learn to equip themselves with skills for handling various activities of day-to-day life as a scholar, an activist, or visionary leaders.
As The Excelsior School seeks to develop informed, creative, and responsible future leaders, the school has been organizing MUN sessions and sees this 11th MUN session as a grand way of commemorating the past 11 years of our MUN journey with the new batch of students.
