“I’ve written because it fulfilled me. I did it for the buzz. I did it for the pure joy of the thing. And if you can do it for joy, you can do it forever.”
-Stephen King
Writing has always been my buzz and now it has paid off in the same way for me. I am proud to present myself as the press head of the year 2023. Leading a team consisting of more than 100 members, I feel privileged to be the one to have this opportunity of being the press head.
With the role of guiding the deputy heads and also the chief reporters who are assigned to their respective chambers, I as a representative of the whole press team am to be held accountable for all the activities done by my team members. The press team carries the responsibility of bringing real life media and its protocols to TESMUN and I assure you that the coordination of the press team and the IT team will give life to this visionary concept. Lastly, I would like to wish luck to all the respective members of the dias panel and participating delegates as I fulfill my part as the press head to my utmost ability.
“In these times we fight for ideas, and newspapers are our fortresses.”
- Heinrich Heine
The leading factor in any war is information. In war if one party has ample information it supports the preparation of contingent war plans not only that intelligence has distinctive strategic, operational, and tactical roles, and what is a newspaper if not clear and concise information. That is why I am proud to be a member of the press team as the deputy press head.
As a member of the press team our job is to collect news of the committees in every moment and then edit and present it to the beloved readers. We are strictly focused on the notion of quality over quantity and wish nothing but the best news stories to be posted and read by our avid readers. TES MUN is an opportunity for libertine to give their own opinion of the current events of our world and we the press team assure you that not one of your voices will be drowned or oppressed by the other. I hope to fulfill my duty as the deputy press head to its fullest.

“Literature is the art of writing something that will be read twice; journalism what will be grasped at once.”
— Cyril YRIL Connolly
As Deputy Press Head at TESMUN, I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a remarkable team dedicated to conveying the essence of TES MUN. TESMUN excels in promoting diplomatic dialogue and critical thinking, creating a platform that enables meaningful discussions with diverse perspectives. Our role involves swiftly compiling updates from various committees, refining content to present the most refined version to our valued readers. We are dedicated to sharing exceptional news stories with our readers, ensuring that each piece resonates with excellence. This has been a rewarding journey that has deepened my understanding of the power of words to shape ideas and drive change. My experience with TESMUN has heightened my interest in journalism and global affairs which has inspired me to contribute to the field.

“Journalism is Literature but in a hurry”
-Matthew Arnold
Everyone in the press department is in a hustle, working under intense pressure. It all comes down to time management, discipline, and meeting deadlines. As the press deputy head, I consider myself extremely blessed to have been given the opportunity to oversee such trustworthy teammates. TESMUN is a platform where new talents can arise and develop. On the other side, the press exposes all of TESMUN's processes to the wider public. This contains both positive and negative aspects, as well as popular and unpopular perspectives. Press views everyone in equal regard. Though I was trusted for this grand position, I was uncertain whether or not I could handle all of the responsibilities that came with it. It all worked out in the end thanks to teamwork and the assistance of the teachers.
Best wishes to all the delegates.
