Learning is a beautiful and transformative journey that one undergoes taking steps through conscious choices reshaping oneself with necessary knowledge and skills. Thus, your experiences matter. As just said learning is just like a tapestry of experiences, and choosing the right threads is key to weaving a meaningful learning story. My dear students, TESMUN is like a vibrant palette of colors waiting for you to dip your brush into. Here, you step into the shoes of diplomats and politicians, facing the world's most pressing issues head-on. You labor diligently to uncover solutions in a simulated United Nations environment, where you will be guided by experienced leaders and the inner calls that come from your conscience, the inner thirst for knowledge.

At times, you might feel ‘What does it matter to the world or our country even if we make great decisions?” It is true that the decisions you make today within these chambers might not alter global politics, but they certainly mold you into a stronger leader, a more profound scholar, and a dedicated peacemaker.

Now, for those of you currently in the 7th grade, you are just 13, young and inexperienced, and at times carefree. However, in just a decade or so, you'll be 23 years old, venturing into the world with the power to make real-life decisions that shape not only you but also your surroundings. You'll no longer be an observer but your role will have switched to an active participant. The experiences you gain today, in places like TESMUN, will become invaluable at that time. I wish you all the luck in the world for your future endeavors! Opportunities will knock, and you'll be among the few who not only hear but also seize them to bring about positive change. Go forth with confidence and make your mark!
