Yibaiub

Yibaiub trees (aquacitreacae) are fully aquatic trees found in the shallow areas of the Amazon river. They're descended from the Camu Camu tree. Their name translates to River Lemon in the tupinamba language.

They don't grow like a traditional tree. Instead, their stump is thick and their branches grow straight up, twisting around each other to maintain stability. All the way up the branches there are large, thick, and rigid leaves. Near the ends of the branches, the fruits hang in bunches just above the surface. Once ripe, the fruits are eaten by large herbivorous fish to be dispersed up and down the river. The fruits themselves are a yellow-orange and high in citric acids.
