Architecture for Place-making: Design Response

Tutor: AR Alice Wong

The focus of the students' work will now be on creating an urban community center for the cultural and creative city. The building's design must have appropriate architectural responses that take into account both the user behavior patterns and the urban street surroundings as identified and studied in the preliminary studies.

REFLECTION:

This project was the hardest for me as I struggle a lot with theory but I wanted to push myself and create a solid theory towards project 1C. Furthermore, as this project is the first time where every students needs to create a design that has many contexts that needs to be addressed and as well site response. This has deemed a challenge for me but I managed to create solid theory that I am happy with.
