Task and Overview:
This project was my final year project and a continuation from project 1A. It is an individual project where each students are to create a discovery centre for Kampung Sungai Haji Dorani. The task was to find the genius loci of the site chosen and create a design intention fit to what our genius loci is.
The site I have chosen is site A where the genius loci is the vast endless landscape. The design intention was about to experience Kampung Sungai Haji Dorani performance art culture such as silat, gamelan and kuda kepang through theater experience.

Reflection:
This final year project was the most hardest for me to complete because I had a lot of ideas but I could not map it out during my ideation process. The process took about 2 weeks before submission date to finalise it and by that time, I have lost a lot of time for my presentation board as I did it manually drawn. The reason why I did manually drawn boards is because I love drawing a lot and doing it digitally does not show my architecture style. However, the presentation board was done perfectly according to my plan and I was satisfied with the final outcome at the end.
For the next project, I have learned that I need to use better quality paper for the presentation boards such as watercolour paper where I will be able to add in more colour in bigger areas without making it crinkled or crumpled. As well as I need to organise my schedule in a discipline way to be able to balance my time for my own and time for architecture works.
