Famous Architect’s building and Materials Application: Architectural and Structural

Task and Overview:
Each student must select an architect from the available options. The student must identify five architectural and two structural building materials from the chosen architect based on the case study. Students should also investigate the ideas and concepts that behind the material and architectural choices. Students must also describe how one of the materials used on the chosen structure was installed. A structure can be from any era or time period. Two A3 papers must be used to present the findings.

Reflection:
This was one of my favorite assignments to do in the Architecture module because I was able to learn about famous architecture and its works. I was able to research one of my favorite architecture works and talk about its material and structure and it had taught me about different kinds of materials that I have never thought about.
