Project 1

Task and Overview

The first project is a collaborative effort with an individual component. The aim is to romanticise a paddy field and translate it into an exciting feel that will subsequently be transformed into a standalone Poetic Journey Structure.

We were split into a group of 4 to 5 and our team has chosen a concentric design and site B. Then each of us had to have 2 precedent studies that are linked to a poetic spatial architecture.

Reflection:

In this project, I have learned how to create a poetic structure and spatial experience unique to a plain vast landscape of a paddy field. It has opened up my point of view towards every site where a plain paddy field can create poetic spaces and journey.

Other than the project, this was our batch first time conducting a physical group work which was unusual and uncomfortable for the majority of us. We have made many mistakes in the progress of this project such as not doing discussion physically, not communicating enough and how to work together. I will learned my mistakes in this group project and will try not repeat the same mistakes again.
