Area Overview

The Settlement of Rebirth

The New Frontier, much like the old frontier of the wild west, can be an unforgiving place. Which is why a Settlement like Rebirth is so important. A town built out of the ruins of Las Salvaje. Trading posts and saloons built out of the rubble. Covered Wagons made of Solar Mesh with harnesses designed for Mutant Creatures (a fun photo op to pose with the wagon and the simple animatronic creature).

The Frontier attracts it's fair share of outlaws hoping to flee the consequences of their actions by hiding far away from the civilized, modern world. So, Wanted Posters can be found throughout the land. They almost serve as an unofficial interactive game piecing together the tales of different bandits from the wasteland by the different posters! A sheriff's office set up in some old building too crumbled to recognize it's original purpose can be seen. Guests can even take photos inside a make shift jail cell with bars made of old street signs.

The West side is more focused on the ruins rebuilt into a bustling society on the New Frontier with a transition to Adventure Atoll created with a tunnel under an old overpass. The heart of the Settlement of Rebirth is the stretch built out of the old Las Salvaje strip! Including an old Vegas-style theater where the robots the settlers brought with them are putting on a show! The Robots (Who Definitely won't Rebel against us) Revue!

The East side features the outskirts of the city as the ruins give way to rockwork and trees transitioning towards Seasons of Fantasy. The Alloy Clan's cabin can be found out here as well as the mountain home to the thrilling Attack of the Mutant Spider! While the main stretch of Rebirth on the West side seemed more recently cobbled together and rebuilt in the last few years, this east side looks more purpose built and cared for with this being the area around where the Alloy Clan has lived for centuries.

The South side features the rebuilt Gold Rush Casino. With the large building covered in repaired neon serving as an icon and a weenie for the land.

The North side feature walls and warnings and barricades. Weapons and barbed wire protect the city from what dangers lies beyond out on the New Frontier.. The Outer Lands lay just past the Settlement of Rebirth.

The Gold Rush Casino

Welcome to Gold Rush!

That was the name of the biggest and best casino in all of Las Salvaje! Of course, that was before the Incident.

Two entrepreneurs on the New Frontier (who call themselves Luck and Skill) have found the ruins of the old casino in what is now the Settlement of Rebirth. Using what bits of technology still work in the Electro-Radiation field of the New Frontier and fixing up the simple mechanical games from centuries ago, the casino is able to open once more!

The old Lobby has been converted into the Fancy Goods Store and The Golden Plate Buffet. The games floor has been relocated next door to become the Play to Win Arcade for all ages, and two pieces of machinery (Spin for your Luck and The Shuffler) give guests thrills on the former grounds. You can even meet Luck and Skill as they wander through the area.

This section of the Settlement of Rebirth is partially covered by a make-shift roof of rubble, scrap metal, tarps, and even pieces of the original casino's roof.

The original Gold Rush casino from before the incident leading to the destruction of the region had a Wild West theme. Much of that decor (while worn out) is still around for the rebuilt Gold Rush. Some of the light up signs have even been repaired! The neon lights at night time help this part of Rebirth to feel truly unique and visually spectacular!

The Outer Lands

Upon first glance at The Outer Lands one would think “this is where Nature is healing.” A Nature's Wonderland on the New Frontier! But after stepping foot into the region, it becomes clear that something isn’t quite right.

Just steps away from the rebuilding society found in The Settlement of Rebirth, The Outer Lands is by contrast a desolate area. Evidence is abundant that civilization once existed here, but no longer. Even the roads that connected this town’s people have slowly become part of the landscape once more.

Nature has indeed reclaimed this land, and many an unfortunate traveler who dared to venture into her domain have since also been claimed by Nature.

For those who seek better understanding of this territory, a few brave souls have set up establishments in the outskirts. Journey into Mutant Mountain is a scenic and thrilling adventure aboard hollowed out logs guided by the region’s waterways. And those who seek nourishment in a tranquil setting will have their taste buds delighted at Sol Pasta & Seafood.

Nestled between the ride and restaurant are the ruins of the former town. Homes, shops, and mines are rotting and falling apart from centuries of neglect. Local exotic plant life has begun to take over. One day this too will become part of Nature.

Travelers are advised to keep their exploration within the southern portion of the region. For to the north lays a much different landscape. This is the reason this area is called The Outer Lands. While the trees may soar high overhead, the plant life may bloom as if it were Spring all year round, and the sounds of many animals can be heard from some distance away... this region is not so welcoming to visitors.

Here, Nature has changed.

Nature has mutated.

Nature has become something fierce.

However tempting it may be, no matter how brave you may think you are, heed the warning;
