Understanding Mind: Why is it important to journal through this journey?

Journaling allows a person to stay present and in the moment.  It can be a wonderful stress reliever and help you to reflect.  Through this journey, journaling will help you to look deeper at your surrounding world, whether internally or externally.

 

Understanding Body: Why movement?: 

Modern life is busy and stress feels normal. Yoga inspired movements help us manage stress, relieve symptoms, improve mood and be healthier overall. These 10-15 minute videos allow your body to stretch and move before or after your nature journey.

 

Understanding Spirit: Why did we include mindfulness?

Here’s the good news - you don’t have to empty the mind of thoughts! Mindfulness, or meditation, is a single point of focus, paying attention to one thing, and can include just about anything: gardening, knitting, running, having a conversation, or a traditional seated meditation practice. So, yes, you can do it! This practice helps quiet the racing mind a little or a lot, and opens the door to connect with nature. Each of our short mindfulness podcasts will help you to be present, relax the body and mind, allowing the senses to more fully connect with mother nature, a powerful healer.
