It gives clear instructions for House Managers and Providers to follow, based on Sunny Haven’s policies, DBHDS rules, and the HCBS waiver requirements. The manual covers important topics like documentation, service delivery, health and safety, emergency plans, staff supervision, and person-centered support.
This manual is more than just a guide—it helps ensure consistency, accountability, and quality in every home. By using the manual, House Managers and Providers can make sure individuals receive safe, respectful, and high-quality care, while also staying ready for audits, licensing visits, and reviews. It should be used regularly during supervision, training, and quality checks.
The Program Director will update the manual as needed when there are changes in rules or agency practices. All House Managers and Providers are expected to stay up to date and follow the most current version.
