There were a total of 64 minis released by Kenner between 1981 and 1984. The last 10 minis, released in 1984, are the most valuable and hardest to find.
Minis could also be purchased in gift sets. These are harder to find.

JC Penney Catalog Mini Set
This set could be ordered from the JC Penney catalog and came in an white catalog box.
This set of minis from Japan is made with a squishy vinyl material. They are not original to the 80s but are still considered vintage as they were made in the later 90s. They came in a clear plastic case without any licensing information, so they are considered bootlegs although Kenner did have official licensed items that were produced for the Japanese market. I am including them on this page instead of the "fakie" page with the assumption that those searching for information on them are more likely to look here with the rest of the minis.
