Greeting Cards

Muriel Fahrion was the original creator of Strawberry Shortcake. In 1977 she was designing greeting cards for American Greetings and came up with the original idea for Strawberry Shortcake and her cat as well as 32 other characters. By 1979 Strawberry shortcake had been named, branded, and turned into an entire line of books, clothing, dolls and other toys.

There are countless greeting card designs that were produced over the years from Fahrion's original creation. Some cards were even included in the boxes with the dolls.
