Second Issue Dolls

Pictures show dolls, correct outfits, and shoes for reference.

The second issue dolls were released in two different stages starting in 1982. The noticible difference in the packaging was the addition of pets for all of Strawberryland friends. A new style box was released to accommodate the accompanying pets.

Kenner issued all of the original dolls with pets as well as five new dolls: Lime Chiffon, Angel Cake, Cherry Cuddler, Butter Cookie, and villainess, Sour Grapes.

All of these dolls had curved hands (except the babies who have always had flat hands).

Apple Dumplin's friend, Tea Time Turtle, was no longer hard plastic. He was replaced by a vinyl version to match the other pets and was given a different pose as well.
