In 1982, Strawberry Shortcake teamed up with Pat Boone for the yearly nationally broadcast Easter Seals Telethon. There were a few Easter Seals items produced with Strawberry Shortcake images.

The 1991 doll shown here is a prototype. Her dress & bow are different than the ones eventually sold. She is also wearing authentic vintage Berrykin shoes and tights instead of the ones that were eventually designed to go with the Berry Best Party doll.
