Store Displays
These pieces are some of my most prized collecion items. It is so cool to think about how these pieces were used back in the 80s to market and sell Strawberry Shortcake items in a variety of stores.
SHELF & COUNTER DISPLAYS
This display box was for the first series of six plush pets. It would have held three of each of the six pets for a total of 18 plush.
This is a shelf display box for packaged Berry Wear.
This item used to be a part the collection of Norma French.
This Adam Joseph pin easel display is made of cardboard and would have been used as a counter top display.
This was purchased from the estate of a sales rep. It has been stored in an attic and never used in a store, just as an example piece.
Jewelry Display Box
This display box held pin and necklace boxes. It is from Australia and dated 1985. I do not have enough of the jewelry to fill it at this point, but you can view some of the individual pieces on this page of my site: Australian Pin & Necklace Sets

I originally purchased the box with plastic inserts pictured below. Later I was contacted by the seller who had found the back piece of the original display. I was able to purchase it to complete my display!

This box has the original plastic piece that holds the carded minis.

HANGING DISPLAYS
I purchased this complete gondola display kit from someone who found it in an old warehouse. The kit had never been opened. It contained the large display piece and metal mounting hardware...this would have allowed it to be attached to the top of a shelf. It also contained a set of six shelf talkers. It also contained the original directions for setting it up.
Original Shipping Box
Original Instructions included with the Gondola Display Kit
This large display piece is three feet tall! It is made of molded plastic and is double sided. Attached to the top is the original string that would have been used to hang it from the ceiling of a store.
This hanging store display is double sided. I purchased it from Canada. It is similar to another display I own where the character and the heart are separate (see below). This is one piece and considerably smaller...about 12x12. It's dated 1984 which is much later than most of the other display pieces I own.
Valentine's Day Store Display
This display is large...it's about two feet tall.
I was finally able to complete the display thanks to my friend, Pam who found the heart piece for me!

Large Hanging Store Display from an American Greetings store for Christmas (double sided)
There were Care Bear displays in hearts similar to this one as well.

This is a smaller version of the above display. It can be a standing display or can be hung from the ceiling. It has a hole in the top for a string. This shows the bottom where it gives instructions for standing it up.

This berry display piece with Lucky Bug would have been part of a display with the larger Strawberry Shortcake display above as a companion piece. It is also double sided.
This is a hanging display from a book store. On one side is Strawberry Shortcake and on the other a character from the Berenstain Bears books.
French Mobile Display
This is a rare piece I purchased from a French collector. I've never seen another one like it.

SPRINGMADE FABRIC STORE DISPLAY SAMPLES
All of the Springmade Fabric Store Samples have a card attached to the top like this one that give the style numbers of the fabric. Some have just one style and others are more like a "flip book" of various patterns.

Springmade Fabric Store Sample for Quilted Strawberry Shortcake fabric
The quilted fabric style is hard to find.
There are five different samples in this display.
