Gardens, Plants & Shrubs – Community Guidelines

Stoneridge Village takes pride in its beautiful, uniform landscaping. To maintain our community’s aesthetic and ensure safe access for all, please follow these guidelines:

1. Prohibited Items in Common Areas

• Vegetable Gardens: No vegetable gardens of any kind are permitted in the common areas of the property.

• Bird Feeders: To prevent pests and maintain clean common grounds, bird feeders are not allowed.

2. Landscape Edging & Tree Surrounds

• Approved Colors: Concrete landscape edging and tree surrounds are permitted only in Red or Tan.

• Purchasing: Edging can be purchased by individual unit owners or in combination with neighbors for shared areas.

3. Maintenance & Clear Access

• Trimming Requirements: All plants, flowers, and shrubs must be kept trimmed back and away from:

  • Walkways and Sidewalks

  • Driveways

• Why This Matters: Keeping these areas clear ensures safe passage for pedestrians and allows our maintenance and snow removal crews to perform their work without obstruction or damage to your plants.

If you are unsure if a specific plant or garden modification is allowed, please reach out to the Board for approval before planting or installing new edging.
