Compliance – Simplified Guideline

• Unit Owners are responsible for any legal fees and costs the Association incurs when:

  • Bringing the Owner into compliance with the Declaration, Bylaws, or Rules.

  • Defending a lawsuit filed by the Owner, if the Association wins the case.

COMPLIANCE Directly from the Bylaws

Legal Fees and Expenses .  A Unit owner shall be responsible for the reasonable attorney's fees and costs incurred by the Association in bringing such owner into compliance with the Declaration, Bylaws, and/or Rules and Regulations of the Association, and shall also be responsible for such fees and costs incurred by the Association in defending legal action initiated by such owner that is resolved in favor of the Association.
