The 2003 operating year was a governance-structuring and financial-discipline year for Stoneridge Village. The Association moved beyond the most basic startup posture and began functioning with a more deliberate operating model centered on Board leadership, reserve planning, insurance alignment, dues discipline, and greater oversight of contractors and community standards.

At the same time, 2003 exposed the practical challenges of maintaining a relatively new condominium community. Landscaping failures, soil and drainage limitations, snow removal damage, and vendor quality concerns showed that the Association’s long-term stability would depend not only on collecting dues, but on building stronger operational controls and clearer maintenance expectations.

By year-end, Stoneridge Village stood in a stronger position than it had at the beginning of the year. Financially it was more stable, governance was more defined, and the Board had clearer visibility into the risks and responsibilities that would shape the Association going forward.
