"In the region, this had always been one of the most important days of the year. Welcoming the new generation, securing the future. Sliver grew less dangerous in many ways, more in others. It was an uneasy time. But Centre-South would continue to celebrate the 'day of choosing', when another year took the burden of protecting those who could not themselves, that would not change soon.

For an important day though, it seemed pretty ordinary. And 'ordinary' meant that the weather was disgusting, a moist drizzle-vapour which didn't make it seem like it was raining so heavily, but would soak through your clothes to the bone in moments if you stepped-out. Still, much worse could happen. Probably would happen, actually... a spot of rain shouldn't deter anyone."

Unlike Pensalir, Lichthart was small enough to fit on one document. Like Pensalir's documents, Lichthart is really hard to read. Fortunately, RP Nation also uses BB Code, so one could copy/paste the information in the document above to a conversation and make it slightly easier to read.

As the third year student stepped out onto the roof of Lichthart Academy, she made her way to the edge, before crouching to sit; hanging her legs off the roof as she placed her violin case down beside her. The silence was deafening as she watched the sunset in the distance. "I guess my forever within the numbered days is over then..." Her voice was uncharacteristically quiet, yet it betrayed no hint of emotion as she felt a familiar warmth along her cheeks. She raised a hand as if to wipe away the tears, but ultimately stopped at the last second, just barely managing to cover her mouth as her body was wracked with a fit of coughs. When the coughs finally subsided, she didn't look at her hand as she wiped it against her skirt, staining it with her blood.
"Can't really be that surprised though...I haven't let Illia take away my symptoms in ages. I just...couldn't bear to watch her suffer in my place anymore." Her words came out at the same quiet volume as before, not having any hope of breaking the silence. No, that honor went not to her voice...but to her violin. Still, she didn't immediately take it out, choosing instead to enjoy the silent sunset for several more minutes before finally taking out her beloved instrument. "Alright then...one last time, you and me. A performance to be remembered..." When she finally started to play, the music that her violin produced weren't sounds that a violin could produce, and when she started to sing; she almost instantaneously started to build up a sweat.
She often did this when she played, used her Passion to supplement and alter the notes to produce impossible sounds; all for the sake of enhancing her own performance...even at the cost of her health. When she made minor alterations, like what she'd been doing in the classroom earlier, her body could barely handle the stress of all that Passion; and that was at the best of times. Right now, it was fair to say that this was the worst of times; and she was using more Passion than she should've been capable of producing. One last performance, to put an end to her forever within the numbered days, that she could be proud to be remembered by.
There was a soft thud as her body fell back against the cold roof, just barely conscious. Her violin wasn't quite so lucky, falling to the ground and shattering on impact. Yet still, the performance continued, carried out by her Passion alone; an indescribable warmth radiating from the roof of Lichthart Academy. When the performance was finally over, there was a smile on Kaori's face as her lifeless eyes gazed into the sky above. Even as her forever within the numbered days came to an end; she was still smiling, happily walking into the future. The winds themselves seemed to breath out at her departure, wishing her farewell.
"Goodbye..."
