It can turn itself into pure lightning and jump about at blinding speed, slipping through even the slightest opening with ease. What sets them truly apart is their Passion Tech of increasing their size and muscle mass to increase their thunderous strength for their storm of a fighting style.

- Personality: Laxus is in all meanings of the word, a bully, and perhaps something even further now. Having attended Lichthart for five years now, he used to be a hopeful enthusiastic who wanted to be the best along with his comrades. As he grew older and things started to change, he changed into a mean-spirited jackass who only accepts strength as a legitimate form of authority. He's bore witness to attendance rates to Lichthart dropping, and every day he grows more furious, going on about how everyone sees Lichthart as nothing but a joke now. His greatest wish is to become Lichthart's new Principal, so that he can bring about the change he wishes to see for it and the Centre-South. However, that's become so twisted over time; as his delusions grow bigger, his distance from the original reasons for his wish grow farther. Now he wants Lichthart to be a symbol of strength for the Centre-South, that they should deny weak initiates in favor of those who would give their life for strength, even going so far as to prosecute those who are symbols of weakness in his eyes. His hostile and condescending attitude is only being tolerated due to the renown of his assumed-late father Pharis Tarkion, the legendary "Blacksteel Tark" who fought alongside Auraxis, Greyson and mutual friend Clive in their youthful days, or rather it's because of the respect Greyson held for that man that he's been so lenient with Laxus, his own nature assisting. Still, sometimes it's a very trying process...Still, if you could see into his heart of hearts, he remains loyal to his comrades and friends amongst Lichthart and wishes for everyone to simply get a little stronger and improve themselves and the Academy for everyone to see. It's just that that heart has been long buried under his thousand others that tell him strength is the most important factor.
- Reputation: When you're talking about the contender for Lichthart's strongest student alongside Mystogan (a subject often spoken of in student mythos), one whom is volatile in nature, you're bound to be on one side or the other when considering him. Either you're a member of his Thunder Legion cult of personality, and you think he's rad so he doesn't beat you up, or you're not a complete coward and you still steer clear, because he's nothing but trouble.
