The capital of Sliver, Elysium has become a prosperous city from humble beginnings. There's a lot of technological development there, but since the North became richer, it's lost a lot of its real political dominance. The old can't see it, but the youth tend to know which way the wind is blowing.

Pracha

North

Heavy preference to Pensalir if they pass the exams.

The great city that belongs to all the miners and factory workers of the North. It's a functional (many would say ugly) city, the houses all come in lines and look the same. The people, though, are warm and living conditions are good thanks to an increasing number of newly re-discovered technologies making their way there.

Anchorage

Heavy preference to Lichthart.

The original city of Sliver, also the worst. A lot of people still live here, but there's very little going down, except for the almost-constant rain battering the corrugated rooves of the homes. It's a fishing city, but the only things you tend to catch are these ugly, bony little snapper fish that could barely feed a kid.

Naraida

Naraida

Neutral with slight preference to Lichthart.

A beautiful and isolated city running through the forests in the Northeast. Very racially-diverse, Naraida still protects and recalls many of their individual ancestries, they're fierce as they defend their homes from beasts and occasionally from outsiders, too. The only thing they don't have is their own academy.

Vixilancia

Centre-South

Heavy preference to Lichthart.

A tough farming town in the Southwest, Vixilancia's soil is battered and unproductive after decades of overfarming. They also have to defend what they still have from beasts coming from Anoya Wetlands to the south. Life isn't good, but they're hard-working and co-operative to beat it back.

Lenabury

North

Heavy preference to Pensalir if they pass the exams.

A large swathe of fertile farming lands, Lenabury's quite deserted after a mix of automation and calculations made the presence of humans to tend the land more of a formality. It's beautiful, safe countryside there though, maybe the most peaceful place in Sliver.

Novo Strella

North

Novo Strellans have a guaranteed place at Pensalir if they want it.

A new town clinging to the snow-capped mountains, Novo Strella is the luxurious home of the North's elite. With great houses bathed in silver filigree and cut-crystal, most Novo Strellan heirs tend to receive private tutoring from the best money can buy before study at Pensalir.

Old Mining Village

Neutral

Vines creep over this skeleton of a once-great settlement, but it's not completely empty. It's a camp for the occasional explorer or researcher, as well as a refuge for fugitives. But it's a home only for the very, very stubborn.
