Race and Class Details:

Race name: Human
Class: Magician
Sub-class: Lifetaker
Brief sub-class summary: Lifetaker Magicians don't have the most potent of magic. A small amount will do nothing, but if attacked over time, you will find yourself exasperated and sick. Lifetakers can drain the energy of their victims and use that strengthen themselves. Too much energy, however, is a bad thing. It becomes too much for the caster and they fall ill, unable to use any of their life draining magic for a long while. They focus on suffering more than dealing real damage.

Individual/sub-class powers:

Lifesteal: The caster drains a small amount of the victim's life force and adds it to their own. This is able to heal only minor wounds, such as gashes or bruises. Factures, breaks, internal injuries and the like can't be fixed with this spell.
Energy drain: This works in a similar way to Lifesteal, but the caster saps the enemy's strength instead. It's incredibly easy to drain too much of someone's energy with this spell, so one should always be cautious with how much they're taking.
Dark Magic: Your average, vanilla Dark Magic. Evil spells that cause suffering and pain, at a cost.

Appearance:

Picture or description in their usual dress: Rowan's short, black hair is styled very neatly, parted down the middle and combed to each side. He is rather pale, due to his distate towards going outside and socializing. His eyes are a deep, emerald green. In terms of clothing, Rowan prefers anything smart. One would usually find him in some kind of suit (usually black or dark grey), complete with dress shoes and a pair of wrist-length gloves. He doesn't bother wearing any kind of armour. It's too heavy and barbaric. Occasionally wears glasses for reading (half-rim, rectangular, black frame).

Weapons and combat gear they use: Rowan carries an old spellbook - the source of all his magic. It's... Sinister, to say the least.

Nature:

Hometown: Novo Strella
Personality: Rowan is quite antisocial and hates talking to people. When approached, he'll retort with snappy, annoyed remarks before walking away. Along with that comes arrogance. Rowan believes others don't deserve his attention, as he's too smart for them. They wouldn't understand what he has to say. It takes a lot to even become an acquaintance of this uppity young man.
* How committed they are to their region: Somewhat. He could care less for the outside world.
* Short backstory: (( going for a different approach here )) "Hah. "Backstory." That's amusing. You want to delve into the things I prefer to keep private? Disrespectful. But since I just can't stand your constant asking - I'll give you a brief summary. You hear me? BRIEF. I had it rather well, you could say. Grew up in a financially stable household... Why, I even had my own servant for a short time. My parents wanted me to follow in their footsteps and become healers. But by then, I'd became enamored with the polar opposite. A form of magic that... Get this... Takes life instead of gives it. Why should I waste my valuable time aiding those I don't like or don't even know? It's better to just sap their life to supplement your own. I must live long enough to master the dark arts, after all... I have much greater plans I have yet to execute."
