This contents and format for this site follow the project hri07e - km6 CDID format.
Project Management is a well recognized discipline anywhere complex, inter-disciplinary projects are undertaken. This SIG is established for the purpose of (mostly) importing that knowledge from outside sources, but may occasionally invent specifc artifacts, procedures and jargon of its own.
The term Project Management has become associated by those proposing novel methods as referring to "waterfall" methods and therefore they no longer have "Project Managers" as such - however - somebody still decides that whether or not the money still flows to the project and if what is getting done fulfills the objectives of what was sold as the project. How it happens may change - but it still happens.
Please note that hri07e is the current "reference project" for HRI and that km6:pm will be the generally used project management reference for all HRI projects. It should not be necessary for other projects to re-create km6:pm
