There are three separate components of the work order number;
- the organizational identifier <dd:fin kc:org>
example: "hri" = "Hammond River Institute"
- the last two digits of the year date in which the project work order was created <dd:pm kc:yy>
example "07" = 2007 (the year hri07e was fisrt identified as a project)
- the sequence letter of the project for that year <dd:pm kc:seq>
example "e" = this was the 5th HRI work order opened in 2007.
these there elements are concatenated together - usually in lower case - as <org><yy><seq> or in the example hri07e.
