A Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI) could be set-up for each "role" in a project and use as the filter to exclude irrelevant or information the role doesn't "need to know" - while tracking the time (and hopefully applications and files used) to edit or read project artefacts. Auditing of users should also be possible.
