1.0 Title: Discovery Debate
2.0 Purpose:
[1] To use classical debate techniques to develop a thesis (perhaps even as a "null hypothesis") to a point where a decison can be made about which point of view to accept as the basis for further action.**
[2] To capture the debate in a re-usable and easy to follow format that mainatins a logical structure moreso than a chronoligical one - but where the timeline for the dvelopment of the arguments is not lost.
3.0 Usage:
This is an extension to the km6 "topics" format where the soemwhat advesarial approach of a debate sharpens the arguments and exposes illogical or unsupportable cause and effect statements. It is not the equivalent of a trial - as much of the evidence would not meet those levels of purity and would be ignored - however the "independent" thrid party is essential as some discussions can get quite emotional and off-topic. ***
