"An Ounce of Organization is Worth a Pound of Search Engine"

"A watt of Organization is worth a Megawatt of AI!"
This contents and format for this site follow the project hri07e - km6 CDID format.
Knowledge Management (KM) in this project SIG is simply the collection of concepts and artifacts that govern how the various parts of an hri07e project work together. This will no doubt grow over time but it is used in a rather limited sense for the time being.
The question being answered is: "So now that you've done the project, what do you do with all that experience?"
- here's what you do with it:
Other SIGs such as ILS and Project Management and Configuration Management** could have been used to define the way information is stored and used by the project but KM appears to be the closest in spirit and concepts to the objectives of hri07e. Some deliverables such as the CDRL and the ISEL (WILL BE) moved back to the Project Management and Systems Engineering SIG's once they exist.
Some of the fundamental concepts of hri07e km are the CDID, the Data Dictionary, SIG’s, Data Sheets, Key Codes, Work Orders, Logs, the filename convention and project portals. If these devices are understood then other structures and practices will seem less arbitrary.

afterthought: For some people the pursuit and acquisition of "knowledge" is an end in itself - with no reason for gaining more knowledge than to add to the collection; sort of like some folk's library shelves. In the case of HRI - the only reason to collect "knowledge" is to use it for some activity that contributes to the betterment of humanity in some way. ( Starting with the poor and hungry - but moving up the chain so that the poor and hungry can feed themselves and others**.) Hence "knowledge" in this sig is the collection of "how and what to do" type of knowledge - not the "angels on the head of a pin" stuff.
** Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day;
- teach him how to fish and you'll feed him for a lifetime;
- give him a commercial fishing licence and he'll trawl every last living thing out of the ocean and complain that there's no more fish.
