After completing the questionnaire online, you will obtain:
Your type formula according to Carl Jung and Isabel Myers-Briggs typology along with the strengths of the preferences
The description of your personality type
TAKE THE DESCRIPTION. "ENFP' OR INTJ OR ESTJ" etc. Open up Google Search, type the four letters into the search engine and you will get 'descriptions' of these typologies. See below example to download.
For FIRST READ - NOTICE: when you read the strengths, traits, and other descriptions, notice what sentences stand out, what 'rings true', what you might want to become more of, and write these down. You may or may not be all or some of it. What is revealing is the words used to describe potentials in you that you may want to embody and those traits you may want to continue to acknowledge in yourself. And also what you might like to grow into. [This information will be used later in another assignment: Positive Self Image].

Why assign this for Transformational Coaching? Simply -- it is an accepted 'system' for identifying Traits and Talents. For some clients, they have done this before; for others, it will be their first time and very helpful in identifying 'words' that RESONATE TO A PERSON'S INNER TRAITS AND TALENTS. The 'discovery' is: What is RESONATING now to that person... not when they took it 10 years ago, or in college or at a job interview.... This is NOW... and brings to top of mind the 'words' that may go into a positive self image narrative and/or help them make a decision on a new career direction... or affirm something wonderful about themselves that had gone un-noticed.
Note: Above is WHY WE USE IT IN COACHING -- we are not analyzing. We are simply asking" What rings true to YOU, the client.
