Student Leader Appreciation Meal 2021
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: we have amazing student leaders! God has truly blessed us with student leaders who are passionate, driven, excited, visionary, and, most importantly, seeking to know Jesus and make Him known.
As this year is winding down and graduation is upon us, we decided to have a picnic appreciation lunch at Kate Sessions Park, a beautiful park with a great view of Mission Bay and the ocean.
My camera was messing up so I failed to get a normal photo of all of us. We DID however take a supremely awful jump-photo, which resulted in this really fun looking group gif.
It was great to just relax with them, play some games, hear some of their favorite parts of the year, and talk about what they have planned for the summer. We are sad that a few of our leaders are graduating this year, but we are praying for God to use them mightily as they move on.
Prayer
Thank God for all of our student leaders.
Pray for our graduating students. Pray that God will continue to work in their lives, draw them closer to Himself, and that they would be a light for others to seek Jesus as well.
Pray for our student leaders who are staying through next year. Pray for God to continue to pour into their lives and bless them to be a blessing to others around them.
Pray for our new student leaders who just signed up to help us lead others to Christ.
Pray for our staff
Pray for God to give us wisdom as we plan for summer events and for next year.
Sam Davis has focused on international student ministry since 2010 and is on staff with Cru and Bridges International in San Diego, CA. His passion for leading others into a close relationship with Jesus is shown in his general love for people and focus on discipleship.
