When cookies and brownies made babies...
(learnt from Lily Pebbles)Pre heat oven to 180 degrees.
In a bowl, add the cocoa, sugar and oil. Mix in the eggs one by one and add the vanilla essence. At this point, add in the cinnamon. Mix it thoroughly. If you have a mixer, its much easier to combine otherwise use a whisk for better consistency.
Sieve the plain flour, baking powder and salt into the mixture. Cover it and place in fridge. Normally, I keep it in the fridge for around 30 minutes but you can keep it longer.
Once the mixture has slightly gone hard, use a small spoon and scoop out little balls . Add them on your plate of icing sugar, making sure its completely coated by rolling it around, it forms its own ball. Place on a lined baking tray. Keep a distance between each ball as they will expand.
Bake for 12 minutes. Leave to stand to cool and repeat process until all the mixture has finished.
Enjoy with a warm mug of chai.
