PRIVACY POLICY — BYAHE PLANNER - VACATION PLANNER

This Privacy Policy applies to Byahe Planner - Vacation Planner ("Application"), a trip-planning app for itineraries, budgets, packing lists, and reservations.
SHORT VERSION
Byahe Planner doesn't require an account. Your trip details — itinerary, budget, packing list, reservations, and journal — are stored locally (on your device, or in your personal app storage if you're using it within Claude) so it's private to you. Nothing is sent to third-party servers we operate.
1. WHAT THIS APP DOES
Byahe Planner helps you plan a trip: build a day-by-day itinerary, tag days by type (beach, city, province, international) to get suggested packing items, set a budget and split expenses among travelers, manage reservations (with notes like terminal, seat, or contact info), and keep a trip journal. Some sections (Packing, Itinerary, Reservations, Settings, and Journal) may require unlocking, which can be done by choosing to watch a short rewarded video that unlocks them for 30 minutes.
2. INFORMATION STORED BY THE APP
The following is stored so it persists across visits, until you clear it yourself:
Your trip details: itinerary, day tags and notes, points of interest, budget items and expenses, traveler names used for expense-splitting, reservation details (including any notes you add, such as contact info), packing list, and journal entries
App settings and preferences
Depending on how you're using the app, this data is saved either in your device's local browser storage, or in your personal storage within the Claude app (not shared with other users). Either way, it is not sent to any server we operate.
The following exists only in memory while the app is open and is not saved to storage — it resets automatically whenever you close or reload the app:
Whether locked sections are temporarily unlocked (unlocks last 30 minutes after watching an ad)
3. AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED INFORMATION
Like most web and mobile apps, basic technical information may be collected automatically when you use Byahe Planner, including:
IP address
Device model and operating system
App/browser usage statistics
Crash reports
Date and time of use
Features accessed within the app
Byahe Planner does not collect precise real-time location information; any destinations or itinerary details are entered manually by you.
4. PERSONAL INFORMATION & ACCOUNTS
Byahe Planner does not require you to create an account or sign in. Any names or details you enter — such as traveler names, budget splits, or reservation contact info — are provided voluntarily by you and stored only as described in Section 2, never transmitted to us for our own use.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Byahe Planner may use third-party services that collect information under their own privacy policies, including:
Google Play Services
Google AdMob
The rewarded-video "Watch Ad to Unlock" flow is served through an ad provider such as AdMob, which may collect information necessary to serve ads, prevent fraud, and measure ad performance.
6. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Information may be disclosed only:
When required by law
To comply with legal obligations
To protect the rights, safety, or property of users or the app provider
To trusted service providers acting on our behalf (e.g. ad or analytics providers)
7. DATA RETENTION
Your trip data and settings remain stored until you delete them yourself or clear your browser/app storage — they are not automatically erased. Section-unlock status exists only in memory and is lost the moment the app closes or reloads. Automatically collected technical information (Section 3) may be retained only as long as necessary for analytics, security, legal compliance, and service improvement.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Byahe Planner is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover personal information from a child has been collected, it will be deleted as soon as reasonably possible.
9. SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect information handled by the app. No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure.
10. YOUR CHOICES
You can edit or delete individual itinerary days, budget items, reservations, or journal entries at any time within the app. Clearing your browser's local storage (or, where applicable, your app storage) will remove all saved trip data. You can also stop all data collection by uninstalling the app (on mobile) or simply no longer visiting it (on web).
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of Byahe Planner after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
12. YOUR CONSENT
By using Byahe Planner, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
