Vegan Bulgogi

12 ounces Impossible Beef

1 small onion, thinly sliced

¼ cup soy sauce

¼ cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon agave

1 tablespoon toasted oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

½ teaspoon ground ginger

½ teaspoon dried red chili flakes, or to taste

Black pepper to taste

Sesame seeds

Sliced green onions

Brown beef in pan over medium heat.

Once brown, add the onion slices, soy sauce, brown sugar, agave, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, chili flakes and black pepper. Cook 5-10 minutes being careful not to burn.

Remove from heat, season with pepper (may need salt but doubt it with all the soy) and sesame seeds.

Serve with rice and green onion slices


we tried this with both Impossible Beef and Beyond Beef, there was not a consensus as to which was the preferred brand!
