Ginger Braised Bok Choy

Braised Boy Choy

1 small shallot, minced

2 tablespoons ginger, peeled and minced

4 bulbs baby bok choy, quartered, washed and rinsed

½ cup vegetable stock

1 tsp corn starch

Sweat onion until fragrant in neutral oil, add ginger and sweat gently

Add bok choy and stock. Cover and steam gently until desired doneness (they can be cooked until mushy, or left crunchy, to your taste)

Which a little vegetable stock and cornstarch together, pour over and cook until thick

Season to your taste
