In the amazing hotel that is Woe Manor, we give every person their own 500 sq. ft. room with a 3 sq. ft. balcony that they can enjoy and decorate, with the decor we have here at the manor. It’s your choice of one of three pre-decorated and set up sets for your room, but of course, you can do whatever you want when it comes to rearranging or changing items out. Check the shop too, you might find some furniture you might like.
Beautifully decorated with the aesthetic of the surrounding victorian horror you’re in. It’ll blend so well with the rest of the place that you won't be able to tell if you’re in your room or the hallway!
A simple yet pleasing way to decorate your room. The nice wooden finish on all of these will let you knock on wood at any occasion! This set is much less decorative than the surrounding halls, but some take that as a good thing.
For people who want a more “updated” look to their room, this will serve nicely. This set is made of metals, plastics, and painted woods. This set comes in many colors that sometimes clash with the rest of the manor's atmosphere.
All of these series come packaged with a Bed, a CRT TV, a Nightstand, a Desk, a Chair, a Light Source, a Wardrobe, and a Plant.
One set comes free when choosing a room, to acquire another you must buy it from Mister's shop.
Woe Manor has 40 rooms per floor, and 4 wings on each side, each with a unique identity explained below. This means 10 rooms on the East Wing, 10 rooms on the West Wing, 10 rooms on the North Wing, and 10 rooms on the South Wing. Get comfy with your neighbors, you don’t get to choose who they are after all... and once night falls, you can't venture to other halls. All halls main doors are locked at night. The rooms are randomly assigned to you. You’re going to be placed on a random floor, in a random wing, in a random room. However, you can change your room with an item in the shop.
A hall of rooms for tenants on the Western side of Woe Manor. This hall is decorated with images of Honchkrow and Murkrow inducing statues of the birds. The color scheme is dark blue and red with both the hall and lounge.
It is rumored that tenants from the West Wing are more likely to be violent towards other tenants in either overt or subtle ways...
A hall of rooms for tenants on the Eastern side of Woe Manor. This hall is decorated with imagery of Altaria and Swablu along with a few paintings. The color scheme is sky blue and white with both the hall and lounge.
Many tenants residing at Woe manor believe at people who live in the East Wing are much kinder and safer than the West Wing residents...
A hall of rooms for tenants on the Northern side of Woe Manor. This hall is decorated with imagery of Fearow and Spearow along with a few paintings. The color scheme is brown and red with both the hall and lounge.
This hall is much more luxurious than the East and West wings, with a larger hall and a much nicer lounge, including a community kitchen! It even locks at night for extra safety! You’re lucky to get a room here.
It is said that the tenants on this wing are related to the Watcher in a strange way... Why else would they get special treatment?
A hall of rooms for tenants on the Southern side of Woe Manor. This hall is decorated with imagery of Hoothoot and Noctowl along with statues of the birds. The color scheme is tan and black with both the hall and lounge.
This hall is much more luxurious than the East and West wings, with a larger hall and a much nicer lounge, including a community kitchen! It even locks at night for extra safety! You’re lucky to get a room here.
People think that tenants placed on the South Wing are destined to reside at the manor for a long time before meeting an eventual demise...
An expanse of habitable rooms within the basement of Woe Manor. These halls are decorated with imagery of Zubat, Golbat, and Crobat, the bats carved into the bricks and stone pillars of the space. This hall is much more inhospitable than even the East and West wings. Everything within the basement is made of grey stone, roughly hewn. In the center of the hallway is a large pit with iron bars preventing tenants from falling in. If anything is dropped into the pit, you cannot hear it hit the bottom... Though, you might hear screams and groans instead.
There are rumors that the people who choose to move to the basement are the most horrifying tenants of the manor. Some people say the basement halls are constantly coated in blood...
Note: Basement rooms do not have windows, and their balcony space is just another small room.
Located at the ends of the halls where the elevators lie are the staff rooms. This section is decorated with imagery of Masquerain, Butterfree, Beautifly, Vivillon, Frosmoth, and other such butterflies that soar up the walls and onto the ceiling on a clear blue sky. Looking the most modern of all the residential areas, this place also feels oddly peaceful compared to any other hall. It's as though Crypts purposefully avoid harassing these rooms.
These rooms are twice the size of even the most upgraded tenant room, a perk of having to deal with their riffraff every day for eras on end. Not every staff member stays in their room, but the space is always there for them if they need a safe haven.
New tenants are never assigned to the basement floors. For a tenant to reside here, they must first reach rank 6 and then use a room change item to switch their room to the basement. Tenants that are not yet rank 6 cannot visit basement rooms without a resident of the basement hall escorting them down. Luckily, or unluckily for some tenants, an elevator has appeared to assist in reaching the depths of the basement. Though it might not be a good idea to trust this rickety elevator...
