The calm of the beach was always a welcome treasure. After the massive chaos the appearance of the lighthouse heralded, Lachrymose was all for the peace and quiet. While most would get bored of calm, the Walrein was in need of it. Most of his workers were very high energy, and while that meant they enjoyed the work and got it done faster, it also meant he had to keep up with that.
Looking out into the sea, the waves seemed to calmly go with the ebb and flow of the tide, back and forth, tripping over itself as the waves came in. The smell of sea salt permeated the air, strong, and yet, soothing. Lachrymose was just about to go back into the lighthouse when something caught his eye. Bubbles in the distance. His one good eye barely made it out but he did catch it. ‘Perhaps a Veluza in the water’, he thought, dismissing it… until the bubbling got larger and more violent. Grabbing his spyglass, Lachrymose aimed it to take a closer look.
Calm turned to horror as from the water, he could make out frenzied splashing and chattering as something emerged from the inky depths.
“Shit… SHIT! Havoc, get the others n’ head back to the manor. NOW!” He barked, rushing to grab his Harpoon. A terrible roar echoed loudly through the still of the air and the Captain turned to face his foe.

Havoc, did in fact, manage to do as its boss demanded, grabbing and tossing them all over its shoulders as it booked it back to the manor. The chaos of their entrances getting the attention of the managerial team, a few of the head staff and some of the tenants lurking by the entrance. The attendants all looked towards the door, unsure if the burly sailor had followed them. It felt like an eternity but Phineas came into the manor, injured and battered, but alive. His workers finally able to breathe it was only then that a certain rat made his appearance, alongside Maxwell, who looked just as worried as some of the more gentlehearted tenants like Chouko and Dia. Some of the more hardened ones like Anoxsis and Yuze stared , indifferent to the commotion, while the more intrigues like Lise and Gattaca watched with morbid curiosity.
“Well well, Phineas you seem to know how to make an entrance. I trust the beach is in order eheheh~” Weston chuckled, not seeming to care about the state of the Lightkeeper.
“The hell it is, Rat! Those damned leeches are infecting the beach! It’s bad enough that them damned crypts run around unchecked but them vermin make it uninhabitable unless we get rid of ‘em!” Phineas said, before grunting in pain at a particularly nasty bite wound on his arm.
“Hmmm hmmm well I guess that does pose a problem…that I'm sure Maxwell and the others will happily help you deal with~ Hehehe. He is the manager after all.” With that Weston shook his head with another chuckle and walked away leaving Maxwell panicked and Lachrymose fuming.
Maxwell had to compose himself, turning to the Walrein.
“Tell me exactly what happened. W-We can figure it out!”
And so he did, the story leaving Maxwell with a pit and Lachrymose, simmered down but still pissed. A crowd had started to form as rumors quickly made its way around the manor that something was wrong.
“Corrupted looking…Eelektross?” Maxwell repeated, feeling like this was the unown pups but worse.
“Not just that but Tynamo and Eelektrik too. Least that’s…all I saw… but who knows. All I know is them leeches will make their way here if we don’t stop ‘em and that big… whatever it was… I don’t wanna think of what else that thing can do. They already took my eye, I ain’t lettin’ ‘em take my beach!”
“You’re in no position to move!” Maxwell was quick to say making sure the old man stayed down while Arsenic went to grab Bliss. Turning to the growing crowd, Maxwell decided to address those that were here.
"This is pretty urgent. Anyone who thinks they can help with this is welcome to try and will be rewarded for it! J-Just stay safe… we don’t know what is out there!”
