XLVI. Summer Games Wine vs Coffee! Part II

What...just happened? It seemed like the tension was still tangible as the tenants all stared as the two team leads separated from each other.  Everyone wore a different expression. Larimar looked on concerned, not just from how violent that had gotten but at the injuries their former boss sustained.  Meringue also felt concern for her own boss, considering they were winded and badly hurt from the looks of it. Then there were tenants like Cain, who seemed amused by the brawl and his packmate Anox who didn't seem to care.

Arsenic's wings were buzzing and fluttering. He seemed to not say much. Both leads had tenants check in on them. Thistle needed a moment alone, not that the venomoth was eager to check on them. Arsenic himself seemed to be...vague with how he felt. He took some time to himself before he turned to the teams with a wide grin despite the bruising and pain he felt in his cheek. 

"Alright, you cool cats. Who's ready for more fun and games?" Came the chill raspy tone of the bartender. "We've got a special treat for the next half of this including feats of strength and tests of endurance~!" The moth wasn't going to bring attention to the confrontation. He didn't want anyone to ask him about it. He wanted to forget it happened...like he told the other one. The Games shall go on...

"In this half, we've set up a new weight-lifting challenge and of course the main course of the games. We're gonna get into a big game of... Capture the Flag!" He said, taking to the air. "Hidden all around the manor are these small team flags." He picked on up to show. "Your task is to find them and get them back to your home bases. Team Wine, your base is in Graveyard! Team Coffee, your home base is the Gardens! Once a flag has been taken to base, it can't be removed from it. You will go up against not only each other but... us. That's right. You wanna score big, you gotta play big. We'll be guarding... these!" Arsenic swooped down to pick up a large flag. It looked more like a banner the way it was hung on the pole it was mounted on. " We have many of these so try your luck. You wanna get double the points. You gotta get past us to do it. Think you can get past your leads? Try it! Let's get to it!"

With that, Arsenic took off towards the station he had picked the near the forest like to set up his banners. Hopefully, this would blow off some steam.

This event will be active between August 1st to August 31st!

North Wings and South Wings  are TEAM COFFEE!
East Wings and West Wings are TEAM WINE!

Basement inhabitants can choose their teams but once chosen, it CANNOT be changed.

How to earn points:

Completion of each prompt will earn each team +5 Points!
Capturing the smaller flags will earn +5 points
Capturing the large flags guarded by Arsenic or Thistle  +10 Points!

If you're unsure you'll finish the prompt(s) by the above end-date, make sure to ask for an extension before the event ends.

All art submissions must include at least one lined (or lineless) half-body, with either color or shading to be counted for the prompt bonuses unless stated otherwise.

All literature submissions must include at least 500 words to be counted for the prompt bonuses unless stated otherwise.

Each piece can only complete one prompt - per character - per member, even if multiple characters from one member are present in the piece.

Make sure to tell us what prompt you are completing and for what character in the description of your art or literature so we can reward you correctly!
