Snow had begun falling on the manor. It was freezing outside nearly every day, and the sun barely did anything to heat tenants or melt the snow piling up outside the walls. The actual manor stayed heated perfectly though, no matter how many doors were left open on accident, mostly due to Klaus.
Taylor has an announcement to make, more of a request really. She gathered up as many people as she could find into the garden. The snow had been shoveled that morning so tenants were not up to their shins in the snow, but it was still extremely cold.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your day and I'll keep this short but I'm afraid that we might all be in danger. Please follow me."
Taylor walked to the very back wall of the garden where the forest gate had been flattened. Something very large had stomped on it and broke it apart.
"W-we all know that the Lord Watcher has uh-p-placed some very dangerous things in the forest but uh. This is unprecedented. I'm afraid that this is a warning. We don't know wh-what did it."
Taylor lifted a tuft of dirty white matted fur from one of the spikes on the wall of the garden. Upon bringing it closer, it was clear that it was stained with dried blood. Taylor started to gather more of the fur.
"I'm afraid of the possibility that one of our staff members who was stationed in the forest has already been victim to this beast. S-so I'd like for you to g-go look for them and try to determine why this beast is trying to make it's way into the manor."
Taylor led the group to a small shed near the garden. She pulled out a few maps and rudimentary first aid supplies.
"This is the supplies I can provide but you can bring your own if needed. Seth can make rations, you'll want to have a supply of food. I've also made a list of expedition groups. I implore you to meet with your group before tomorrow, we will meet up here at dawn and head out. Don't be late."
`Taylor left the list of groups nailed to the side of the shed [List]. It would be good to get started early.
Welcome to a PKMN-WOE expedition... Not much is made known about the forest to tenants when they first enter the manor, maybe you'll be able to solve a few mysteries of the forest... if you make it out alive. Hehehehe...
