Paralimni Lyceum organized an informative exhibition to promote the Erasmus+ mobilities that took place during the 2023-24 school year. The information sessions were conducted during break times from Wednesday, November 22nd to Friday, November 24th, 2023.
Promoting Erasmus+ Opportunities
Booths representing each mobility project were set up in the central courtyard, allowing students to learn about the destination countries and the activities they could participate in. Information about the application process for each mobility was also provided. There was a high level of interest from students eager to participate in the program.
Focus on Program Objectives
All mobilities were designed with activities aimed at fulfilling the objectives of the Erasmus+ program, enriching students' learning experiences and fostering intercultural understanding.
Selection Process
Following the open call, students submitted their applications for the various mobilities. The selection committees for each mobility carefully evaluated the applications based on several criteria:
Academic performance: Students with strong academic records were given priority.
Previous involvement in Erasmus+ activities: Prior experience demonstrated a commitment to the program's values.
Students with limited opportunities: The program aimed to ensure inclusivity and provide opportunities to students who might not otherwise have access to such experiences.
In cases where contestants were equally qualified, a draw was conducted to ensure fairness and transparency in the selection process.
