Paralimni Lyceum
Erasmus+ Conference
3 - 4 June 2024
3 - 4 June 2024
The conference also included successful interactive workshops in which students and teachers actively participated. In addition to gaining knowledge, participants engaged in discussions on cultivating critical thinking and raised questions about nutrition and emotional support.
A highlight of the conference was a roundtable discussion, structured as an interactive workshop, with the participation of students, parents, and teachers. This productive dialogue proved particularly beneficial for identifying student needs, with an emphasis on the pressures they face within Cyprus' exam-centred educational system.
A common view among conference participants was that schools can play a significant role in fostering creativity and disseminating innovative practices to the wider community. Moreover, there was a shared feeling that schools should become spaces for emotional uplifting and expression. Paralimni Lyceum remains committed to collaborating with students, parents/guardians, and local community stakeholders to improve learning outcomes and create a constructive environment for the entire school community.
The conference was organized through the collaborative efforts of the following committees:
European and International Programs Committee
School Board, Social Events and Reception Committee
